VFS SHORT COURSES VFS members are instructing two online short courses this June. The Short Course on Electric VTOL Technology on June 14–15 in two five-hour sessions. A second course, Introduction to Practical VTOL Aircraft Cost Estimating, will be held on June 22–23 in two five-hour sessions. There are separate registrations for these two courses. VEHICLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS TECHNICAL MEETING The VFS Philadelphia Chapter is hosting the 2021 Technical Meeting on Modern Operations with Future Integrated Vehicle Management Systems (VMS), focusing on extraordinary level of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft design and development activity underway and planned in both the commercial and military sectors, and the unparalleled criticality of VMS to safety, performance and affordability. 46TH EUROPEAN ROTORCRAFT FORUM (ERF) The European Rotorcraft Forum is one of the premier events in the rotorcraft community’s calendar bringing together manufacturers, research centers, academia, operators and regulatory agencies to discuss advances in research, development, design, manufacturing, testing and operation of rotorcraft. ROTORCRAFT STRUCTURES AND SURVIVABILITY TECHNICAL MEETING The VFS Hampton Roads Chapter is hosting the 2021 Rotorcraft Structures and Survivability Technical Meeting. Presentations are invited on structures, crashworthiness and vulnerability reduction. See the call for presentations for more details. Presentation abstracts due August 6. 9TH ASIAN/AUSTRALIAN ROTORCRAFT FORUM (ARF) ARF 2020 was postponed to 2021, but will still be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. It is organized by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) with the support of the local VFS chapters of the participating countries.
